Penang Penang and Penang (:

I'm back from Penang! So many things to update and too many picts to upload.
I seriously don't know where shall I begin.
Haha. Penang's the heaven of food?
Well, this couldn't be denied.
Look at the picts of those food I'm gonna upload later,
they're so gonna make your saliva drools :D

Day One
Nothing much bout day one. No picts were taken.
By the time we reached Penang, it was evening.
We unpacked our stuff and headed to New Lane
for dinner with friends.
Had porridge and char kuey teow.
Thumbs up for the porridge. Great one.

 Day Two
*Camwhores*
Fake smile as always :/
I need to train in front of the mirror someday.

First, we had our lunch at Harvest In Cafe, Irrawaddy Road.
My favourite spot after all.
It serves fantabulous western cuisine with reasonable price
and harmony yet classic environment. Five star-rated from me (:

 Me, Jessica & Vivian

Chica & Me <3
 Hollandaise Fish at RM 12.90
Chicken Cordon Bleu at RM 11.90
Barbeque Chicken Chop at RM 8.90
I ordered this. Nice one. Especially the mashed potato.
The Chef's Chicken Chop at RM 8.90
Grilled Fish In Spicy Creamy Pepper Sauce at RM 12.90
Our drinks

They look yummylicious aren't they? More to come (:

Next stop : Chaiya Mangkalaram Buddhish Temple at Burmah Lane
Panaroma view of Sleeping Buddha.
This is the biggest and longest 'kun hut'
I've ever seen so far. Someone said I look like him cause I love to sleep :S
Wheel Of Fortune. "Can it be trusted?" asked by Vivian
The chiams
I got chiam No. 7
7 is always my fav and lucky no. Sucha coincidence.
Well, this chiam was a quite good one and how I wish those predictions
will come true one day. Hee (:

Next: Gurney Plaza
OMG! Paris, the place I'm dying to go for.
It drives me crazy. Gahhhhh!
However, I don't know why I don't have the urge to shop.
Just bought few spaghetti straps only. Good girl? Haha.

Nice place to chill : Straits Quay
Eat healthy, live well, go for Subway (:
Had 6 inches sandwiches for our tea time.
They were made fresh in front of us, exactly the way we want it!

Love the awesome building and the scenery here.
It brings a nostalgic feeling and perfect for photoshooting I guess.
Well-lit building at night makes it a romantic place to hang out for couples (:

After Straits Quay, we headed to Batu Ferringi.
It's a tourist spot though.
Wanted to go for beaches but unfortunately it was raining.
Thus, just managed to go pasar malam.
Many cheap unique and pirated stuff can be found here
but you must have some bargaining skills. LOL

Where did we have our dinner?
Tadaaa!
The desserts. Cute indian cakes and candies.
 Try this try this!
The famous tandoori chicken and cheese naan set at RM 10.00
Fried Rice at RM 4.50
 Chicken Murtabak at RM 5.00
This was effin' delicious. I wanna have this again :/
 Roti Telur
The container looks like the one baby uses to pee

Overall the food were nice and the ambiance as well as the deco were so cool.
Me likey this place (:

Upper Penang Road?
Yes. After dinner we headed to UPR to meet up with some friends
and hunt for cute hunks.
But too bad, no leng zai could be searched. LOL!
Was jesting anyway, not that despo :p
Simply loving this building (:
Monkey Bar
The birthday boy
Mois with Alyn, King and us.
Pichas before leaving upr

Day Three
Finally I tried this! Was longing for this well-known penang road
teochew chendul since last year. LOL
It was nice, however I still prefer Ipoh's one because other than chendul and red bean,
they add on glutinous rice and sago.

What was next?
Penang lang, does this road look familiar to you?
Where else other than 'sa tiao lo'?
Wanted to try the hokkien mee here but too bad they close on thursday :/
We headed to Kimberly Streets next.
Char kuey teow and hokkien mee for our dinner.
Appologies. No picts were taken. We were too hungryyyy. Eat first! LOL

Suprise birthday celebration for Mr. Fernando Ong.
Did he feel suprise that we suddenly came in with a
bithday cake? I do wonder. I hope he did. Haha.
This mission wasn't that easy after all. Only 4 of us understand
how tough this mission was. HAHAHA.

 Chocolate Cheese Cake. Yummy!
Hope your wishes come true (:
 Gotcha!

They both were off for movie and we headed to Heritage Coffee
to meet up with friends again (:
Heritage Coffee, another awesome place to chill with it's sorta
hostorical building-like and live band (:
Thumbs up!

Day Four
With a blink of our eyes, it was our last day in penang.
Nice food before we leave?
Mee Sotong Hameed Pata, Espanade
The yummylicious mee sotong at RM 4.00
The price is reasonable as there were quite a lot of squids given.
Remember to squeeze the lime given as it enhances the taste of mee sotong.
Peeps said this mee sotong is very hot and spicy but I personally didn't really feel the spiciness
and I could take it still. Perhaps the sizzling sun and surrounding cause it too be so spicy and hot? LOL
The creamy coconut milk shake will definitely sooth the burning
tongue from the fiery chillies
for some peeps (:

Thanks for the chee cheong fun, Desmond (:
Somehow I prefer Ipoh's one as I don't really like the prawn sauce.
Anyway nice try. Thanks once again.

Finally some picts of us all girls (:

Last spot before we leave : Kuan Yin Temple at Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling
This is probably one of the oldest temples in Penang.
Loving the crafts. So artistic.
Karen & Alyn. Envy with their slim and long legs :/
The most leng chai in Penang. LMAO.
Btw, are you having constipation? :P
Billions of thanks for fetching us all the way (:

On the way back to Ipoh.
I love you Penang, I'll come back to you again.
To be frank, I love Ipoh more :p
Results were out.
Though it was not really that good but
I'm satisfied with it. Peeps who studied last min like me,
what's more should I expect? Haha.
Happy that I still managed to get B+ for Law.
Thanks God (:

Off to Kampar real soon. Sigh :/
