This restaurant operated their business

many years ago but this was my first footprint here.

Went to this place for lunch today (:

The environment is kinda Japanese-like (:

Set lunch at RM 15.00 only ( from 12p.m. - 3p.m. )

Various types of dishes you can choose.

I find it kinda cheap compared to other

Japanese restaurants.

Most important is, the food served is seriously not bad,

especially the potato salad, the nicest one I've tried so far.

And one more thing, the ice-cream is foc and

it's free flow some more.

Haha. Penang's the heaven of food?

Well, this couldn't be denied.

Nothing much bout day one. No picts were taken.
By the time we reached Penang, it was evening.
We unpacked our stuff and headed to New Lane
for dinner with friends.
Had porridge and char kuey teow.

Finally I tried this! Was longing for this well-known penang road
teochew chendul since last year. LOL
It was nice, however I still prefer Ipoh's one because other than chendul and red bean,
they add on glutinous rice and sago.

With a blink of our eyes, it was our last day in penang.

Mee Sotong Hameed Pata, Espanade

The yummylicious mee sotong at RM 4.00

The price is reasonable as there were quite a lot of squids given.

Remember to squeeze the lime given as it enhances the taste of mee sotong.

Peeps said this mee sotong is very hot and spicy but I personally didn't really feel the spiciness

and I could take it still. Perhaps the sizzling sun and surrounding cause it too be so spicy and hot? LOL

The creamy coconut milk shake will definitely sooth the burning
tongue from the fiery chillies

Morninggg peeps.

It's 1.36 pm right now.

This is so weird. I couldn't sleep much recently.

I could have woke up another 2 or 3 hours later. LOL

Gosh. I'm hungryyyyyyyyy.

Okayy. Apparently I'm having my 2 weeks sem break.

2 weeks? Yes. This is not satisfying. Anyhow, I'll fully utilize

my time with plently of hibernates. Cool isn't it? :D

Did quite badly in final. Bad time management. Law paper 30 marks gone.

Went Daorae with friends last few days. It was my third visit to this Korean bbq restaurant.

The food and services are awesome I should say.

If you’ve never tried it, Korean bbq is a fun and filling meal of marinated meats grilled right at your table.

Daorae, serves authentic korean dishes and high quality fresh food with a

simple korean styling deco and a relaxed environment.
They even have exhaust ducts for the bbq stove on each table,
personally I felt it didn't help much because my shirt and my hair still smelt like Korean BBQ

when I left after my meal. LOL.
One thing I love about Daorae is their unlimited refill of Panchan.

Panchan are free-of-charge Korean traditional side dishes served in small portions,

meant to be finished at each meal.

They can be replenished during the meal as they are finished.

Dolsot Bibim-Bab (RM 20.00/Serving)

This is also known as Korean stone rice and
it's a must-called meal for me.

The rice cakes were chewy, however the sauce was not spicy enough

and a little too sweet for my liking.

Jab-Chae (RM 30.00/Serving)

Korean fried stir noodles with vegetables, mushroom, beef slices and praw.

This was yummylicious (:

Pork Modum (RM75.00/Serving)

The meats were pre-marinated and were on-the-grilled.
I like the way Daorae uses charcoal as the heating base instead of gas-stove because
I always believe that food that is cooked using charcoal has a better taste.

BUT.......

This dish was way too sinful. Look at those fats! Oh-My-God

Yang-Ngum Dak-Gal-Bi (RM 28.00/Serving)

Boneless chicken fillet marinated with spicy chili sauce.

I prefer this to pork, well-marinated and delicately grilled to perfection.

It didn't lose its juiciness too (:

Lettuce were given to us to wrap the BBQ stuff that we ordered

and by dipping the meat into the sesame oil and chili paste, it was greatto!

Someone said my blog is dead, hence, here's a post to revive it.

How's sembreak? Not that bad I guess.

Finally we made it to penang :D

It was an awesome trip with all the fun peeps and nice food around.

We travelled all around to hunt for good food.

Laksa & soya bean with gula melaka at gurney drive.

Hokkien mee & chee cheong fun at hamidkhan.

Char kuey teow at town and loads more.

It was memorable to celebrate new year with friends at straits quay.

Counting down together by-the-sea and anxiously awaiting the fireworks to begin.

The handsome DJ started the display with a 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1... BANG!!

The fireworks were lit and soared into the night sky.

The crowd made lotsa oooo and ahhhh's as the colours lit up the sky and the bang sounded.

As the fireworks came to a close the crowd clappep and cheered.

The fireworks were truly great and the atmosphere were wonderful I would say (:

However, there's nothing much to shop in penang though :/

Well, working for Pc fair in UM was enjoyable.

Though UM has no handsome hunks to peep at, I enjoyed

I've joined this competition where the make up artist applied a goddamn thick make up on me. Like Nippon paint only. I looked fugly serious shyt.
Not to doubt their skills,
just that heavy make up doesn't suit me at all I guess.

And my hairstyle made me look more like an aunty.
Again, not blaming the hairstylists, just that this kinda hairstyle doesn't suit me as well.

My hair is growing longer day by day. This sentence sounds goddamn extra I know. No one's hair is growing shorter day by day for sure. HAHAHA. Okayyy. I'm keeping my hair and I'm gonna perm it next year :D I'm dying for long wavy hair and not those curly hairs. I missed my natural wavy hair and I want it so badly right now ): Straightened my hair was actually a big mistake and I'm regretting now like seriously. It's human's nature I guess. When you've something and none of another thing, you'll probably forgone what you have and try out another thing. This is so-called opportunity cost wth. LOL.

Woohooo I'm now free from midterms, assignments and presentations all sorta things.

I was seriously tensed up with all these.

I did badly in midterms, I did charity as I've donated most of the marks

and careless mistakes kill too.

I know how you feel.

Empty, betrayed, and no happiness whatsoever.

You don't want to laugh, because you know it's not going to help, but you don't want to cry,

because it will just make you feel worse.

You feel like your heart is falling apart,

but not only that, but you know soon your life is going to feel like it's falling apart too.

You don't think it will ever end, and no matter what this person has done to you,

it feels impossible to stop loving them.

And everyone wonders why if they have hurt you so much, then why do you still love them.

That's the confusing part, you don't know why, you just do, and the people who hurt you the most,

and normally the ones you love the most.

And then, after a few weeks, you finally feel a sense of relief, like you're getting happy again,

but you know inside that you're just going into denial.

And after a few more weeks, you're back to where you were an empty soul and teary eyes.

You thought you got over them, but really, you just stopped showing it.

And you can't help but to show it again. It leaves deep scars on your heart that are there forever.

And no one understands how you feel, and how deep you are hurt, no matter who they are, because it hasn't happened to them.

And even if it has, every broken heart is different.

They don't know the true pain you feel and carry each and everyday now,

so you learn that basically you are alone with all this.

And the feeling starts to overwhelm you, and suddenly you just break down, right there,

because you know you've had enough, the tears just instantly start flowing,

and you're to the point where you don't care who sees.

Because you've spent so many nights lying awake in bed,

and so many days being haunted by the scars and fear of rejection.

And in the midst of all these tears, you know that its not helping any, and it's not going to bring them back,

After about a million tears have been cried, you finally pull yourself back together and keep going.

Your throat starts to clench and your eyes burn with the tears you are trying to hold back.

Everyone says, "It will be okay”

But you know it won't!

And that’s the truth, it won’t!

and you realize that people are horrible.

You're still hurt, but you've learned to hide it so that everyone thinks you are okay.

23-25/05/10 @ Redang Island

The white sandy beach, crystal clear water and picturesque scene made me fall in love with Redang Island seriously. This paradise-like island offers pearly white shores, a colorful array of spectacular marine life, and breathtaking sunset. I was touched by the glory of nature on the island, surrounded by the coconut trees.

When I came here, the skies were amazingly blue with puffy white clouds. On looking at the waters, I was in awe when I saw how clear the waters here were.It was a worth of time and an unforgettable trip. We stayed at Redang Reef Resort, did all the standard activities and mingled with other guests. I missed the cute lil girl badly ):

Night life was awesome! We enjoyed the barbeque, walked along the beach and sat next to beach side enjoying the night scene. Besides, we enjoyed the beach party and the live band too. It was happening shyt! What I love the most was the windy land breeze and watching whole sky of sparkling stars at night. Stunning!

Snorkeling was most enjoyable. Since it was our first experience, there was initial fear which was overcome by curiosity. LOL @ steven when he was so afraid and tensed up to go for snorkelling and he treated it like a war as if he's gonna die anytime. Anyway, it was totally delightful to see corals, sea cucumber, colourful fishes and 'christmas tree' as well.

Unfortunately, we've missed the chance to get in touch with baby sharks.

The best was feeding those fishes with breads and when the fish bit my finger and swam all around me. It was wonderful. Love it love it!

Merang Jetty. Here we began our expedition to Redang Island!

we weren't boarding it to Redang Island ):

Everyone was so excited.

For the next 45 mins, we were like sitting on a roller coaster which was

moving up and down the bumpy waves at a high speed.

We were getting excited with what awaited us.

When I was half way hibernating,

I received a message from Jess saying that the results are out.

I was totally blur as I've been told that the results will only be out tomorrow.

Thus, I quickly got up from my bed

and I realised that fears started to surround me.

Ahh don't care. No more.

I took my own sweet time bathed and decided to check my results later on.

Helped my friends to check theirs instead of mine.

My hands were shaking and my heartbeats increased.

Really didn't feel like checking mine as I didn't wanna face the facts

that I did quite bad in this sem.

But no choice, I have to!

I logged on the portal and unexpectedly my results??

Hmmm.

Slightly better than the previous sem.

OMG! I was so relieved that time.
